Kate

Kate has been living and exploring in Africa for a decade. She first came to Kenya to manage a safari lodge on the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, and now runs HONEYGUIDE SAFARIS designing custom trips and leading the Young Conservationists as she continues to support conservation programs throughout Africa. Kate is getting her Master’s in Sustainability Studies and is Wilderness First Responder certified.

JOhn

John is a nurse and paramedic with outdoor adventure experience as a ski patroller and camping enthusiast. He has traveled extensively in Africa, and started an aerial photography business to do outside his healthcare work. Also, he has a big heart, so there’s no one better to have as a traveling companion.

James Kinyaga

James is one of our fearless, passionate, wise, invaluable guides in Kenya. He is a Maasai elder, fixer, and mentor to the Young Conservationists, and he is dedicated to educating people about living a traditional pastoral livelihood in harmony with wildlife conservation.
