WorthWild Outreach Project

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO CONSERVATION

Each student will be responsible for developing a WorthWild outreach and/or fundraising project throughout the program, building on his or her experiences and passions.

Students will learn to advocate for conservation and will commit to raising awareness by launching their project once they get home.

Past projects have included…

  • photo and art exhibits for friends, family and community members

  • partnering with retail stores to contribute a percentage of profits to conservation

  • writing a story for the school newspaper

  • designing a logo and selling merchandise to fundraise

  • presenting to the entire staff and board of the local Zoo

  • writing a college thesis on community-based conservation which included interviews with real people who had benefitted such programs

Kenya Scholarship Program

creating a more inclusive and culturally enriching experience for all

Our scholarship program promotes local youth interested in wildlife conservation, thereby cultivating a deeper sense of ownership and inspiring more Kenyans to pursue higher level careers in sustainability and conservation. The cross-cultural exchange of ideas will significantly enhance everyone’s knowledge, skills, and personal growth through invaluable development of long-lasting relationships.
